mmhmmh music zine PNDC & Housework "Second Hand Language" (2009)

From Serbia, PNDC & Housework brings us a mix of dark wave and synth pop. It is mysterious, subtle, calming and as you would have guessed, synths oriented. Many claim that they spin on an 80s wheel yet it is very current. We hear a soft side of Nine Inch Nails at times yet over all, this album reminds me so much of “1. Outside” from David Bowie. Perhaps, this band finds their influence from Bowie, whether intentional or not, it is still there. Over all this is a feel good album and we wonder what the future holds.
